Graphic Designer - Asia (Printing Media)/MK-000-00-PS
(Bangkok)
Responsibilities:
- Catalogue development - Manage catalogue production. Make sure the quality maintains Company’s standard and that guidelines are followed. Make sure all details are correct and checked before printing.
- Local knowledge - Make sure the catalogues are suitable for the local market. Support local markets on other print materials.
- Global knowledge – Make sure corporate guidelines are implemented and followed in Asia.
- Print quality - Ensure the qualities of the files delivered to printer are correct and that color proof is in line with printers output.
- Creative - Make sure catalogue layouts are selling, exciting and prices/ products are clearly communicated according to Regional Catalogue Planners brief and dummy.
- Retouch - Responsible for the retouch quality and as cost efficient as possible.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Must possess 3-5 years of proven experience in a "Graphic Designer" position at a fast paced Advertising/Marketing agency, Printing/Publishing or Production company environment,
- Strong computer skills in Quark Xpress, InDesign, Illustrator and creative software programs (Mac & PC)
- Good knowledge in graphic software’s, printing and retouch.
- Thai nationality with Bachelor degree in Graphics Designs/ Print/ Production Management or related field
- Good command of English communication skills (both Spoken and written) - Direct report to Foreign boss
- Must possess and exhibit a solid understanding of creative workflow for print
- Must have strong time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to find solutions when deadline is tight and if technical problems occur.
- Must be a strong confident team player with strong relationship building skills
- Ability to work with frequent changes in priorities, interruptions, distractions
- Self driven and motivated, able to work independency and lead projects from start to end
- Strong Leadership, able to take control of processes and lead discussions
