Integration Engineer

We are now looking for a high caliber candidate to be working on the following requirements.
Integration Engineer
(Bangkok)
- Be part of a technical team to install and maintain the in-house infrastructure (servers, applications and networks) of a complex, web based solution.
- Work with development groups to ensure the solution meets the requirements of operational standards (deployment and configuration, alerting, upgrading, management).
- Configuring and, where necessary, develop solutions on third party software to meet the same operation standards.
- Define and validate the releases from different development teams to provide consistent integration into operations.
- To gain a technical understanding of the underlying infrastructure and present this to other teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related with at least 2 years’ experience as a system administrator.
- Good communication skills in English language
- Can demonstrate the technical skills required to deploy, maintain and monitor a large web based infrastructure.
- Experienced in administering MS Windows at an enterprise level and automating its operation.
- Knowledge of deploying IBM products such as Websphere, WAS, TIBCO EMS, ESB, Tivoli TEC Adapter, ITM , TPM or TMF are an advantage
- Practical knowledge of scripting.
- Experience in networking, especially TCP/IP are beneficial
- Can solve problems using whatever resources are available – web, product manuals, vendor or Reuters teams globally.
- Able to learn new knowledge and skills even without structured training
- Able to work independently as well as a good team player
