Human Resources Manager - MNC Pharmaceutical
(Bangkok)
Responsibilities:

Our client is a subsidiary of a leading research-based pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of innovative pharmaceutical products to improve human health with its headquarters in the USA. The company has over 60,000 employees worldwide. The Thailand office is a fully integrated part of this global organization with 400 employees.       

Main Responsibilities:
  • Following the global and regional HR strategies, execute relevant HR initiatives and programs for the Thailand organization in the areas of resourcing, talent development, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, performance improvement…
  • Recommend specific HR initiatives for the Thailand business, based on the country situation and environment
  • Be the voice of employees towards the management team and vice versa.  Ensure people issues and concerns are identified, prioritized, and attended to.  Areas of focus may vary from time to time depending on the real situations.
  • Provide expertise, support and coaching to line managers in the following, in alignment with regional practices and standards:
  • Organizational structure
  • Learning & development : learning analysis, learning & development plans, training programs
  • Resourcing : vendor management, candidate attraction, recruitment & selection tools
  • Talent development : high-potential list, retention solutions, succession plans, career counselling, career path
  • Performance Improvement : performance appraisals, performance improvement plan
  • Employee Engagement : EE survey & action plan, communication
  • Compensation & Benefits : salary survey, salary review, PBVP scheme and application
  • Facilitate change programs and team interventions where necessary
  • Provide people analytics (eg. employee retention rates, hiring velocity, headcount, organization design and structure, high-potential and watch list candidates) as required by the country manager and regional HR.
  • Where relevant, build a more long-term HR Plan for Thailand by working with the Country Manager to identify priorities and suggest action plan accordingly

Requirements:
  • Consulting background preferred
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • At least 5 years corporate experience in HR
  • Strong knowledge in comps & bens, ER, OD and generalist principles
  • Speak excellent English
  • at least 8 years experiences
