Meyer Aluminium (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. is part of the largest group of industrial companies in Hong Kong. Besides the Aluminium mill, our group also owns a copper mill, a cookware manufacturer, a watch and clock manufacturer as well as many other interests. Approximately 50% of our total sales are for export to over 50 countries. Our products are sold in the USA, China, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, England, Germany Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Australia. Approximately 85% of Meyer's output is in the form of circles, making us the largest circle producer in the world. As of now we would like to fulfill the vacancy position as the followings:

Mechanical Engineer
(Chon Buri)

Responsibilities :

• Maintenance and project planning: Prepare daily maintenance, preventive maintenance and overhaul schedules. Prepare project specifications and schedules.
• Maintenance and project work control: Carry out daily maintenance work controls and to ensure that the works are carried out effectively and efficiently. Prepares maintenance work specifications and check sheets. Carries out plant erection, installation and commissioning test, ensuring that the installations are within budget and schedule, of good quality and fulfill all the requirements of the project specifications.
• Defect analysis and report writing. Proposals for plant modifications: Analyzes critical plant defects. Prepares major plant defect reports. Propose and implement plant modifications. Prepares major plant modification reports.
• Industrial health and safety: Consciousness of environmental issues and be conscious of industrial safety. Implementation and enforcement of plant safety regulations and practices. Ensure that all staff under his supervision is competent of industrial safety and conversant in the use of safety equipment. Be conscious of environmental issues related to plant operation and maintenance such as to work within the regulation of local environmental authorities.
• Communication and co-ordination : Proper co-ordination of works within his own section as well as with other sections / departments. Communicates effectively with all related parties so as to enhance the works to be carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Management and administration: To ensure that all documents (including plant manuals and drawings etc.) are update and properly filed for ease of retrieval. Prepares technical folders of all plant equipment. Prepare purchasing request. Checks and reviews all essential spare parts and inventories related to his plant area. House keeping of mechanical workshops. Leads, motivates and trains subordinates (may need to conduct in-plant training courses and seminars). Acts as mechanical section head when required and requested by top management.
• Keep abreast of engineering development: Should keep abreast of engineering development of his profession and related to his work in the plant.

Requirements:

• Male Only, age 25-30 year
• Bachelor’s degree of Science/Engineer in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent in heavy mechanical plants and industrial automation system.
• At least 3 years experience in heavy process plants involving in engineering and maintenance of the followings :Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical power transmission, Heavy mechanical drives, Plant mechanical installation works
• Applications of PLC (programmable logic controller) and plant automation
• Good command in speaking, understanding, writing and reading English
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD)
