Safety Officer
(Bangkok)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that HSE management systems are established, implemented and maintained, reporting to HSE manager on the performance of the overall HSE at Eastern Seaboard Location to comply OHSAS 18001 requirements
- Promote the awareness of HSE throughout the organization
- Ensure that operations are legally compliant (in relation to relevant OH&S and environmental legislation) with SGS Global standards / legislation
- Planning, recording, conduct (where required), collation and follow up of audits, training, management review and customer feedback in relation to HSE requirements
- Consult with the team, for strategy / direction, policies, compliance standards, training and planning with respect to occupational health and safety
- Report monthly summary report of activities and responsible for designing / maintaining a key performance indicator system to measure effectiveness of HSE
- Review hazard identification and risk assessment including coordination to concerned person to provide effectiveness corrective action
- Determine cause and analyze the safety incidents / accidents and provide corrective action to prevent recurrence of incidents / accident
- Documents control
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science or equivalent
- 2 years experience in safety field and internal auditor
- Safety officer certificate (Professional level)
- Having knowledge OHSAH 18001 requirement
- Able to work and travel to up-country for a week
