Google: Account Manager (Thai), Channel Partnerships - Singapore

Responsibilities:

The SMB Channel Partnerships team focuses on building and managing long-term relationships with our partners. We are focused on empowering the millions of small- and medium-sized businesses with Google’s AdWords advertising solutions (and other Google technologies) - all toward the goal of driving revenue for our customers, our partners, and Google. Members of this team gain broad exposure to many Google products and people as we're identifying and implementing solutions that best suit the unique needs of our Channel partners and SMB customers.

The role: Account Manager (Thai), Channel Partnerships

This is an opportunity to join a team of experienced, high-achieving sales people. Working as an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to not only develop partners and grow revenue for Google's advertising products, but also play a leading role in helping our partners define their strategic direction in the digital marketplace now and going forward.

You'll work collaboratively with the boarder channel partnerships team to manage relationships with some of our largest partners. As a result you’ll need to be a focused, proactive self-starter, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you're an advisor and consultant, as well as a client advocate within Google. You'll use your analytical skills to grow existing business and support your team with research, market analysis, and other collateral. Above all, you'll be responsible for hitting your revenue targets.

This role will be based in Singapore and occasional travel across South-East Asia will be required :
  • Provide outstanding account management support to Google AdWords Authorized Channel Partners in Southeast Asia
  • Deliver excellent trainings to resellers in English and Thai
  • Provide strategic advice and help solve technical issues by working closely in a consultative role with resellers and manage resellers’ inquiries by phone and e-mail.
  • Build and maintain relationships with resellers that include ongoing strategic consultation and support, as well as educate resellers on new product features
  • Monitor and analyze Channel Partners’ performance data in order to suggest improvements

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record. MS/MBA degree or equivalent a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer support, account management (direct and/or offline), marketing (product, direct and/or offline), marketing program management or consulting
  • Prior experience of working in Asia (Southeast Asia a plus)
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills, solutions oriented and self-driven
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai. Fluency in other Southeast Asian languages a plus
