Senior UNIX System Engineer (Sun Solaris)
(Bangkok)
Requirements:

• Department : Hardware checkup & maintenance for AIS/ DTAC/ TRUE.

• About the Role : You will be part of the "Hardware Operations" team responsible for operations of different UNIX and Middle-Tiers with a focus on Solaris and Linux. Daily use and improvement of Solaris system management tools (explorer). Reconfiguration of systems/ implementation of new SW modules while respecting our change management process. Ensure, on a daily basis, the control, integrity and accessibility of the Servers. Provide fault isolation as well as the implementation of new versions and maintaining operational documentation. Participate in the definition of service improvements and innovations.
• About You : International English, Graduate or Equivalence experience, 4 years of experiences in a similar function, Proven working experience in IT systems administration/ support/ configuration. Strong ability to work in a team, to report and to work under pressure, Good communication skills and Customer Oriented.
• Technical Skills : Sun Solaris (10, 9, 8, or 7), Scripting Languages (Perl, PHP, ASP, NET), Knowledge of network and system management tools.
• Nice to have : Oracle, MSSQL, RedHat, Linux, Knowledge of SAN-Concepts & Terminology, Knowledge of ITIL (Change, Capacity, Configuration,...mgmt)
