Assistant Vice President – Finance / Group Revenue Controller, Hotels
(Bangkok)
Responsibilities :

You will be required to perform the following regular tasks:
  • Perform monitor and review revenues transactions from hotel operation reported by Finance and Accounting Team in each country, ensure accuracy and completeness of the information and that proper revenues reconciliation is performed.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting on cash transactions or cash revenues generated from hotel operation, ensure strong internal control or procedures to secure such cash transactions.
  • Coordinate with the hotel operating entities of the Group in different countries primarily in respect of revenues/fees from hotel operation and any settlements to/from Hotel Franchisor and related companies.
  • Play a key role in ensuring data and system integration among front office, back office, and Management Information Reporting and accuracy of information generated thereof.  Coordinate with Business/Operation Management to suggest or recommend any tools, reports, or process to improve work effectiveness and efficiency and to maximize the use of Group Management Information System.
  • Monitor and oversee all finance and accounting tasks for the scoped countries including (listed tasks may not be all-inclusive):
  • Ensure accounting entries are processed according to policies or instructions and applicable Accounting Standards;
  • Reviews of routine payment/receipt transactions;
  • Monthly review accounts closing and detailed accounts reconciliation;
  • Perform Cash flows management;
  • Maintain and improve Internal controls and/or business process of the Group; and
  • Ensure compliance on statutory financial statements and/or other requirements
  • Support the process of consolidated Group financial statements and preparation of the relevant information
  • Coordinate with in-house and external Legal consultants and other relevant departments/functions to ensure compliance on taxation and legal for scoped countries with an emphasis on revenue flows
  • Other ad-hoc duties to support finance and accounting or business as assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master degree with a major in Accounting is required
  • Minimum 15  years of management in Financial & Accounting management is required
  • Proficiency in English and Thai
  • Strong business acumen, work-ethic, trust-worthy, and adaptable
  • Strong in communication skills
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Hotel background is preferred
  • Age 40  years old and above
  • Computer literate, MS. Office and Power point
