Senior COBOL Programmer

Responsibilities:
Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with our customer in banking domain.
• Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining applications in IBM Mainframe environment or AS400
• Developing new client application projects and providing production support for client projects
• Developing Cobol Program,  CICS and Mainframe JCL
• Develop and  implement specification system assignment according to schedule
• Unit Test and Fix Bug agree with customer need.
• Assistant system analyst to find out and resolve problem system occur become worked
• Taking care of  identify and operate task assignment
• Participate in design and specify software with System Analyst
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
• Provide quality assurance reviews

Ability to perform lead analyst role is a plus.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or others related field
• More than 2 years experience in COBOL Programming, JCL, CICS and VSAM  is a must
• Experienced working with z/OS - Mainframe environment or AS400
• Having skill in Banking business  or Card payment would be advantage
• Preferred experience includes system analysis and design, software development and testing. Consulting and Project management.
• Able to support and implement changes outside normal hours of operation
• Flexible to travel to our client’s site in Bangkok
• Strong organizational and analytical skills as well as practical problem-solving and decision making skills
• As well as the ability to work with abstract concepts to develop computer programs
• Ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as a team, self motivated & result oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills
