Marketing Coordinator (Bangkok)
Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
- The candidate will assist the sales and marketing team locally and regionally with various tasks such as collateral development, customer satisfaction analysis, sales programs, product development and service programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal/External
- Internal (RMA Group)
- External local and international suppliers
- External clients and administrators
Functional Responsibilities
- Manage and provides support to assigned divisions and regional offices
- Research to identify clients, sector opportunities and competition
- Create marketing collateral, including white papers and technical papers
- Coordinate events including meetings, speaking engagements, seminars, trade shows and exhibits.
- Develop marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content
- Coordination and execution of sales and marketing campaigns
- Monitoring corporate communications plan and strategy for uniformity in message, including templates, tag lines, and logo usage
- Maintain organization web site: up to date the picture, copy, announcements, attendance, etc. online once per week and keep events and workers lists updated through interfacing with superior.
- Produce and maintain newsletter and updates
- Develops and provides marketing programs that promote chapter and regional events and membership growth and retention
- Designs and implements plans to market events and products
- Works in coordination with the Events Coordination with the Events Coordinators on marketing events
- Maintains database of potential contacts
- Distributes press releases and produces media kits
- Invites media to regional events and serves as onsite media contact
- Initiates media opportunities including on-air interviews and feature stories
- Maintains database of advertising contacts
- Designs, negotiates, and buys advertising from various media
- Internal marketing management
- Merchandising management
- Product marketing support (training materials, photos, videos, and etc)
- Provide status reports on overall marketing activities
- Maintains and updates CRM system
Education:
- Minimum of a Master Degree in advertising, Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience in any field marketing, public relations or guest relations or in the related field
- Basic automotive knowledge required
- Must be fluent in both English and Thai. Additional languages will be an added advantage
- Candidate must be extremely organized, a multi-tasker, have good time management skills, a people person, customer service oriented, strong communicator, and a good problem solver.
- Ability to travel across the region 50% of the time
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Corel Draw skills required
- Good communications skills
- Be able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent Word (Creation of templates and macros), Excel, PowerPoint (Customized) and email (Outlook) skills
- Good project management skills
- Ability to rework technical text for a broader audience
- Ability to manage a campaign budget
- Creative and innovative
- Good attention to detail
- Team player-works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded
