Production Design & Development Manager
(Bangkok)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct all product development activities from concepts to approved samples
• Coordinate product sampling in accordance with specifications with all related functions, including production and suppliers
• Identify and coordinate solutions in the sampling and development process
• Present creative concepts and ideas for special collections and sales events
• Present colors and materials for remnant product lines
• Source and conduct effective supplier relationships independently
• Manage the costing and estimations for feasibility determinations

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in related field.
• Experience in product design and development for bags and accessories, fashion and lifestyle products
• Familiarity with fabric merchandise or textile background is essential
• Active and energetic, with good interpersonal skills
• Mature and systematic in approach in meeting program deadlines
• Able to lead and supervise to staff towards meeting functional objectives
• Creative, but commercially-oriented in approach

This position with report to the Merchandise Director and is expected to manage and supervise Development team of 2-3 staff, whilst working closely with related internal functions.
