Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS), Bangkok, Thailand is a business unit of Siemens Ltd. Thailand offering SAP consulting, support and implementation services to customers in Thailand and throughout the world. SIS is now searching for highly competent, active and experienced professionals to join the growing team in the following functions:

Purchasing Manager (IT Infrastructure field)
(Bangkok)

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company.
• Defining of procurement strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of materials.
• Implementing alternative procurement sources to minimize stock replacement times, inventory levels and costs.
• Maintain regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly.
• Producing price forecasts and internal figures to supply basic data for corporate planning (costing data) and reporting.
• Analysing and controlling of contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/ subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies.
• Undertake supplier management to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Logistic, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology or any related field.
• At least 8 years experience in purchase, some experience in IT business would be advantage.
• Strong in negotiation skills and project management.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
