CIS / IE Manager

- Support and contribute in strategic plan development for plant expansion in order to produce a superior product to all competitors, in performance and quality at the lowerest possible cost.
- Manage and plan for deployment of CIS tools & system to improve manufacturing & business processes in order to meet company AOP.
- Manage to have CI plan developed in manufacturing functions via updated VSM to address process issues & opportunities in order to improve efficiency, generate more output and savings to meet plant & company AOP.
- Manage to have CI projects inventory and coordinate the execution of each project as prioritized to improve business KPI and meet company cost saving targets.
- Manage to have sufficient qualified CIS resources, such as Black Belts, Master Black Belts, Lean Specialist, etc. to coordinate and carry out CIS projects as planned.
- Correspond with regional team and provide feed back and necessary information in order to meet corporate requirement.
- Provide all function supports in transfering of CIS knowledge and methodology to enhance associates performance & capabilities in order to develop high performance workforce and create CIS environment.
- Support individual developmental plan, provide counseling to subordinates as needed , and efficiently evaluate each individual in order to enhance individual performance to meet business objectives.
- To define the CIS strategy for the location, identify projects, implement solutions, train local CIS people, transfer of best practices
- To responsible for the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Systems, meeting the savings target set in the AOP.
- Monthly reporting of CIS data, and work with the region and global teams to implement GDYR strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in Industrial Engineering or Operations Excellence.
- 3 years as manager of Industrial engineering or Operational Excellence.3
- Must have Lean Manufacturing Training and Experience.
- Must have Black Belt certification.
- Heavy Manufacturing is preferred.
- Union Environment / Union Management & Operations experience is preferred.
- Good English proficiency communication, reading and writing
