They are looking for a competent PDMS Administrator to join their team.

Responsibilities:
As a PDMS Administrator, you will directly repost to the Engineering Manager and work with key peers successfully executing projects across the region.  Your key accountabilities can be summarised as follows:

• CAD hardware / software  To identify suitable Engineering software to be used and to make procurement/leasing recommendations to management. Also to facilitate presentations and demonstrations from applicable sellers, and to undertake benchmarking of the software, and to design the suitable road map for its implementation.
• Project Activities – Respond to CAD related project requirements and schedule, and identify and resolve bottleneck activities, and to suitably customize software to meet project needs. Execute Project setup in consultation with involved disciplines on 3D Modelling, Pipe Support Module Setup & Admin Project specific customization for Pipe Support Module, Conduct systematic and periodic checking of the 3D Model and to notify discrepancies and to suggest solutions to discipline Lead Engineers.
• 3D Model Management with development of catalogues and specifications for modelling in PDMS and to conduct 3D Model reviews, PDMS Data Integration with P&ID & Process Line List, and other packages for data transfer as well as extraction of outputs etc.,
• Inhouse PDMS related Training & Development  Develop suitable applications to improve deliverables quality and reduce engineering time, Impart training as and when required to the designers on various applications of the software, Conduct software upgrade training, Design access database based applications by linking data from 3D Model etc.,
• Arrange and coordinate the issue of various deliverables from the 3D model such as Material Take Offs, Surface Area Reports, Insulation Volume Reports, weight and Centre of Gravity reports, General Arrangement Drawings and Pipe Support Sketches.
• System Implementation and Procedures  Develop and review procedures for CAD related activities, generate PDMS standards, coordinate with sellers for training/customization for new software purchases, liaise with designers so as to improve the software efficiency, and coordinate between designers and sellers on errors or detected bugs

Requirements:
Ideally you will be a well experienced PDMS Administrator with at least 3 to 5 years in the Oil & Gas/OFFSHORE & FPSO industry working either within an Engineering Consultancy or Contractor. It is preferred that you have sufficient knowledge of industry codes and standards and sound knowledge of design requirements and fabrication and installation techniques associated with Offshore and Onshore Piping Systems.
