Glow Group of companies, a private power producer, represents GDF SUEZ's energy investment in Thailand, supplying electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand or EGAT under Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Small Power Producer (SPP) programs as well as directly supplying electricity, steam, clarified and demineralized water and services to industrial customers in the industrial estates of the Map Ta Phut Petrochemical Complex and nearby.
Glow Group has developed all its facilities in leading industrial estate in Rayong and Chonburi, Eastern Seaboard area, to match with electricity and utilities demands of Petrochemical Industries and of Thailand. As of December 2005, Glow Group is the largest truly private power producer in Thailand at total 1,709 MW of electricity, 968 tons per hour of steam and 3,620 cubic metres per hour of clarified and demineralized water.
