Process Design Engineer
(Bangkok)
Responsibilities:
Preliminary design and develop new systems with detailed work steps as;
- Design process conform to Air Products standard and international engineering standard i.e. API
- Material/Energy Balance
- Develop & Generate Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
- Simulate the process to determine the parameter for each equipment
- Calculate pressure drop in pipe (Case of pipe network design)
- Co-develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) with
- Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, Mechanical Engineer.
- Conduct HAZOPs Review with Piping & Instrumentation
- Diagram (P&ID) with Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
- (E&IE), Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Project Development Engineer (PDE).
- Troubleshooting, Improve and Problem Solving for existing systems with the engineering calculation in case of;
- System Capacity Confirmation
- System Debottleneck
- Supply Mode Conversion
- System upgrading/optimization for lowest the Cost-to-serve
- Co-developing new business technical proposals with PDE (GAD, GG, CE, TGEE, NB, PG and Spot Sales)
- Working collaboratively with Project Development Engineer (GAD, GG, CE, TGEE, NB, PG and Spot Sales), Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, purchasers and other internal staff.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities
- Providing advice and consultancy support to PDE (GAD, GG, CE, TGEE, NB and PG, Spot Sales)
- Review and approve Vendor order documentation.
- Liaise with other departments and the client as necessary but in particular:
- With Mechanical Equipment, Utilities and Project Groups in relation to instruments and controls associated with packages, to ensure compliance with Project Standards and requirements.
- With Electrical & Instrument Design Section in relation to instrument matters and review of critical drawings.
- With the Client's Instrument Engineer on technical matters concerning Instrumentation
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Senior Engineering Design and Services Manager, and in particular:
- Carry out technical investigations, produce technical reports,engineering standards and procedures.
- Assist in the development and training of personnel including
- graduate engineers when requested. Participate in proposal activities as required.
Requirements:
- Male
- Age : 25- 30 years
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields
- Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is preferable
