Director, Business Process Improvement(Bangkok)
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities, and to collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Establish and lead a team in the identification, design, and delivery of process improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for maintaining projects on time and budget, reporting on progress, managing expectations and risk, and ensuring post-implementation benefits are measured.
- Coordinate with President, Senior Management level with respect to work strategies and objectives related to streamlining opportunities and eliminating waste.
- Agree with Top Management on major potential areas of improvement.
- Approve team members, experience mix and broad representations.
- Advise on the team operational models, process and appropriate tools.
- Contribute to the transformational change in mentality and behaviour to establish a sustainable perpetual improvement environment.
- Ensure that quality and improvement projects are managed professionally and targets are met.
- Promote Teamwork and cooperation within and across departments.
- Be a student of the markets company competes in, to ensure process improvement initiatives are tailored to the strategic needs of the business leaders.
- Stay abreast of new developments in business process improvement methodology and best practices, including learning from other market leaders and industries.
- Act as a catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all businesses.
Requirements:
- Effective leadership of a team of highly educated analysts to drive effective, results oriented analytic projects.
- Lean knowledge/ experience to apply lean concepts and principles across an entire value stream.
- This role works closely with the business to understand and document processes/practices, establish measurement plans for CTQs and KPIs, identify and quantify process improvement opportunities, implement change and build and execute control plans.
- The person in this position will be expected to identify process improvement opportunities, execute against those opportunities and successfully realize quantifiable benefits.
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 + years relevant experience or relevant Master Degree (MBA preferred).
- Certified Black Belt with at least 10 years of analytic experience applied to process improvement.
