Head of Programming - Thailand

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of the localized programming strategies, initiatives and plans for Fox, National Geographic Channel, STAR World and upcoming channels for viewers in Thailand.
- Work with the regional channel management team to ensure that all plans are aligned with the overall goals and long term strategies of the network.
- Develop annual plans for the localized channels as well as the monthly schedules, grids and highlights.
- Monitor and interpret the daily ratings and researches that provide for the on-going feedbacks to the programming strategies and decisions.
- Plan and commission localized on-air promos in consultation with regional content management, adsales and marketing teams.
- Develop tactical programming packages for local adsales and channel marketing.
- Evaluate and recommend contents that resonate with local viewers for acquisitions.
- Oversees all budgets and delivery of all local content development and productions.
- Ensure that all dubs and subtitles are delivered at a consistently high quality.
- Ensure that all contents on the channels comply with Thai broadcast guidelines and Standards and Practices.
- Manage a team of programming executives.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English is a must.
- At least 5 years of prior hands-on senior executive experience in a similar capacity from a leading television network.
- Loves and appreciate good television programming.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and leadership.
- Flawlessly meticulous, detailed, highly accurate and extremely organized.
- Thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a high-intensity environment, long hours and meeting tight deadlines.
- Reads widely, creative, resourceful, team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- University degree.
The successful candidate is required to undergo orientation and intensive training in Hong Kong for one month.
