Statutory Accountant (Thai Speaking, Base in Malaysia)

We are urgently looking for qualified persons for the positions of :
Statutory Accountant (Thai Speaking, Base in Malaysia)
(Bangkok - Base in Malaysia)
- Provide accounting support to countries in the Asia Pacific region including the following areas:
- Prepare local financial statements in accordance with local GAAP
- Comply with country legal and statutory reporting requirements
- Provide periodic financial reports to country and regional management
- Provide advise and counsel to management on US and country GAAP and guidelines
- Perform self-inspection on work areas and implement measures to ensure compliance to IBM and country accounting practices and guidelines
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or
- Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English and Thai.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Must possess the Chief Accountant qualification to sign off audited financial Statement
- Familiar with computerized accounting and multinational business environment.
- Conversant with Financial Reporting Standards / IFRS
- Knowledge of US GAAP and Thai GAAP will be an added advantage
- Good team player with ability to work under pressure
- Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
- Expatriate whom meet the requirement are welcome to apply.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
