PRTR-ES was established in 2006, specifically to better serve our customers in the Eastern Seaboard area of Thailand and to provide services more suited to the technical demands of these customers. PRTR-ES is part of PRTR, which was established in 1990 and is an independent Thai/British joint venture company that based its operational and sales structure on its successful British partner. PRTR was originally established as a company providing permanent recruitment services and has expanded to become a complete supplier of HR and Business Process Outsourcing services. We currently have 3 offices in Bangkok and 1 office in the Eastern Seaboard with a total of 120 staff based in these offices and a further 23 staff supporting our client partners at their locations. Our plan is for PRTR to become Thailand’s largest HR and operational outsourcing services company whilst maintaining a very high level of service and professionalism.

FACTORY MANAGER – CHEMICAL/POLYMER PROCESS

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality Management system and quality process as best quality.
• Maintain process excellent: Zero defect and stable operations including improving plant utilization.
• Ensure all activities in Thailand Plant are complying with company Integrity and compliances policy.
• Analyze the strategic direction of the business and develop manufacturing strategy to ensure the optimal use of assets to meet the demand.
• Establish, deploy and follow up plant goal & objectives to provide quality products to meet customer requirements.
• Demonstrate an excellent level of personal involvement and awareness in all Environment, Health and Safety matters, and support EHS initiatives and improvement processes.
• Establish policies and procedures for implementation to obtain quality operation for plant functions.
• Implement and maintain control, which measures and reports on plant functions and its performance against plans and take necessary actions to rectify variances.
• Ensure compliance with local and company Environments, Health and Safety requirements/legislation.
• Establish, agree and monitor organizational structure in assigned areas to meet the company’s objectives.
• Team and people management through recognition for performance excellent, career development, extend capability/knowledge with training/job rotation.  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science or any related fields.
• At least 10 years management experience within a large scale process related manufacturing environment, experience in chemical/polymer industry highly desirable.
• Organized and be highly skilled at managing people to ensure the best interests of our client and its customers are adhered to at all times.
• Understanding on productivity, cost controlling and basic profit and loss.
• Management experiences and possesses strong negotiation skills with a progressive hands-on management style.
• Good command of English language both written and spoken.
